Instead of a traditional flower-girl basket, why not try a paper cone? Besides being inexpensive, it can be tailored to complement the flowers or your littlest attendant's dress.

We filled a patterned cone with rose petals and paired it with a pale yellow gown. To make one, simply roll, tape, punch with holes, and attach ribbon (our trimming is vintage ombre rayon). It's so easy, older flower girls can even help with the doing before they start strewing.
