Carton-Mold Soaps

Pretty and comforting, handmade soaps make excellent stocking stuffers and hostess gifts. We placed soap blocks on ironstone dishes, then tied the two with ribbon. Adding a soft washcloth makes an even lovelier -- and more practical -- presentation. These soaps rely on French green clay and fuller's earth for their lovely tints and grease-cutting abilities.
