Every home needs a workstation, but sometimes spatial or other considerations might prohibit us from setting up a permanent office area. Chris Plantan, owner of the Russell + Hazel office products company, advises using mobile components and multitaskers instead. Try a portable desk, which can be stored or can be hung on the wall to double as a useful magnetic board. A tool tote wrapped around a simple storage container is an easy way to fashion a holder for basic office supplies such as pens, paper clips, and envelopes. You can also use a toolbox, a garden basket, or a hatbox to keep supplies organized and to reduce desktop clutter.
