Looking for something to do with your leftover yarn? Try creating these versatile cards.
The Martha Stewart Show, January 2010
Download and print desired design template (cupcake, baby carriage, branches, deer, or mushroom) on card stock.
Apply craft glue from a fine-tipped applicator bottle along the lines of the drawing. Carefully place the yarn on the glue and clip to size with sharp scissors. To make dots, tie a double or triple knot in yarn and clip tails; glue in place. Let dry.
If card stock is warped when dry, place a press cloth over the card and press with a warm, dry iron. Mount the decorated card stock onto a second piece of card stock with a glue stick or double-sided adhesive to completely flatten. Place double-sided tape on the back of the mounted design and adhere to the front of a standard blank folded card.
