For a St. Patrick's Day arrangement, use a combination of naturally green Prado carnations and regular white carnations that are dyed green using this simple coloring technique.
To care for your arrangement, water until the oasis overflows. (When it overflows, it is full.) Mist the arrangement, and keep it in a cool spot.
Martha and Kevin also made a green arrangement using the following flowers: snowball vibernum, sweat william, lady's mantle, green spider mums, hydrangeas, hellebores, euphorbia, bells of Ireland, trachellium, crystal white, hypericon, green tea roses, super green roses, peppermint, green parrot tulips, and ming fern. Kevin uses an Alana Waterford Crystal vase; Martha uses a Seahorse Waterford Crystal vase.
Oasis hearts are available from Michaels Floral Supply. Check out these flower arrangements from "The Martha Stewart Show" for more inspiring ideas.
