Use a widemouthed vase to give the appearance of fullness.
Arrange a dense layer of hosta leaves around the edge of the vase; add Solomon's seal in the middle. Fill in empty spots with hydrangeas. This arrangement will keep for about a week when placed in a cool room out of full sun.
Hosta 'Fair Maiden' leaves
Polygonatum x hybrid (Soloman's seal)
A serene assembly of green and white foliage and flowers is as inviting as a hammock in the shade. Cream-tipped leaves of Hosta 'Fair Maiden' are an unexpected but bold choice for the bouquet's base, which is offset by the lithe curves and bell-shaped blooms of Polygonatum x hybrid (a Soloman's seal hybrid). Clusters of pale-green Hydrangea horensis add frilly texture.
