Avocado, Celery, and Scallion Bruschetta with Mache
Preparing bruschetta is as simple as making a sandwich; there's no need to measure ingredients.

- Fresh lemon juice
- Extra-virgin olive oil
- Sliced scallions
- Sliced celery
- Thin avocado slices
- <a href="/how-to/how-to-grill-bread-for-bruschetta">Toasts</a>
- Mache (or watercress)
- Coarsely chopped walnuts
- Mix together fresh lemon juice and extra-virgin olive oil; toss some dressing with sliced scallions and celery. Place thin avocado slices on toasts. Spoon on scallion-celery mixture. Top with mache (or watercress) and coarsely chopped walnuts. Drizzle with remaining dressing.
