Arrange circular stencils on eggs, then dab with food coloring to give life to these spring designs. Watch this video how-to for more info.
Create stencils using adhesive vinyl and a craft punch (1 inch for body, 3/4 inch for head and wing). Adhesive vinyl is good for this craft because it adheres to the eggs well and doesn't let dye seep through.
Cut the beak stencil from a piece of adhesive vinyl using a craft knife.
Apply body stencil to a pale dyed egg. Gently rub around outline with finger to seal it fully. Dab undiluted food coloring inside stencil with a cotton swab. Let the dye dry before removing the stencil. Repeat process with head, wing, and beak stencils.
Eyes can be created with an additional small circle stencil or with a permanent marker.
