With your thumbs, dig into each ball to spread vines apart. With pliers, reach in and pull out pieces from center, creating a hollow.
Place a plant in hollow. With a 4-inch ball, press plug of soil into hole, adding more soil if needed. With a 2-inch ball, use a succulent that doesn’t require much soil.
With wire cutters, cut away about 6 inches of wire encasing vine ball. Thread it through vine next to hole; twist to secure. Repeat with other end of wire on other side of hole, creating a handle/hook.
