Marion Roach knows what it's like to be stumped by your kids' questions. And while she is often tempted to just say, "look it up," she can't help but see her own natural curiosity in her daughter. That characteristic led Marion to a career in journalism. She is a former staff member of the New York Times, and has written for its Science Times and Magazine sections. She is a commentator on National Public Radio's "All Things Considered," and has written two books: "The Roots of Desire: The Myth, Meaning and Sexual Power of Red Hair," now in its sixth printing, and "Another Name for Madness," a memoir of her family's struggle with her mother's Alzheimer's disease. Marion is a contributor to Martha Stewart Living Radio (Sirius 112 and XM 157). She hopes to give you the tools to learn new things, and to share some laughs along the way.
