Betsy Karetnick is a broadcast journalist with a background in money and personal finance. She has reported stories both nationally and internationally, and served as the host of "That Money Show," a PBS-distributed series. All the while, Betsy indulged twin passions for party planning and planting. She is a passionate cook, and so started growing herbs and flowers on small balconies in New York City. Eventually Betsy has turned her hobby into The Portable Garden, a container garden and floral design business in Millburn, New Jersey. Now she is thrilled to be sharing her personal and professional experiences on Martha Stewart Living Radio (Sirius 112 and XM 157) in shows such as "Morning Living" and "Everyday Food." Betsy lives in New Jersey with her husband, two children, a growing number of pets, endless containers, and an impressive collection of stemware.
