Greg Kleva thinks that if you want to get your dog to listen, you have to think like a dog. In training sessions, he focuses on the dog's body language and natural instincts, taking his cues from the pup himself. Then he tries to communicate through motivation, steering the dog towards friendlier conduct. Greg joined Bark Busters, a dog-training service, in 2003, and specializes in one-on-one training and behavior modification. He is also a certified Canine Good Citizen Evaluator for The American Kennel Club. Before he became a behavioral therapist, Greg played ice hockey and lacrosse at Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts. and worked as a stockbroker on Wall Street. Today he lives in northern New Jersey with his wife and two dogs.
