Marcia and Martha Arrange Flowers
Oscar-winning actress Marcia Gay Harden's interest in theater began when her family was living in Greece and she saw numerous Athenian plays. Her interest in theater flourished with her pursuit of an MFA at New York University. Marcia has had a relatively long career as an actress, beginning in 1986 with the film "The Imagemaker." Over the years, she has appeared in a string of hit films, including "Pollock" (for which she won her Oscar), "Mystic River," and "Space Cowboys." Most recently, she starred alongside Richard Gere in "The Hoax," a film based on the falsified autobiography of billionaire Howard Hughes. Today, Marcia joins Martha to demonstrate the Japanese art of ikebana, or flower arranging.

Pom-Pom Bunnies with Jennifer Murphy
Jennifer Murphy became inspired at a very young age by her mother's booming bear business. She later pursued her BFA at the Minneapolis College of Art, where she studied photography and opened her own crafts business. Jennifer's sense of artistic crafting style has been influenced heavily by turn-of-the-century German toys and those made in the 1940s and 1950s in both Japan and the United States.
