Carole King
Legendary singer/songwriter Carole King recorded her first single, "Goin' Wild/Baby Sittin'," at the age of 15 and cowrote her first monster hit, "Will You Love Me Tomorrow?" at 17. She launched her "Living Room Tour" (in a nod to her appearances in private homes during the Democratic primaries) in 2004, and this October she will release a DVD of the tour, "Welcome to my Living Room." Today, Carole performs and makes Fall Branch Arrangements with Martha.
Dreamers into Doers
Martha Stewart Living's Dreamers into Doers Awards recognizes amazing women who have turned their aspirations into realities. Congratulations to winner Cindy Kerr and conkerrcancer.org, whose volunteers travel to hospitals and hand out pillowcases they've sewn for children with cancer.
