R.L. Stine
R.L. Stine grew up in Bexley, Ohio, a suburb of Columbus, and moved to New York City to pursue his writing career. He now resides in Manhattan with his wife, Jane, son, Matthew, and dog, Minnie. To date, he has sold more than 400 million copies of his more than 400 books, and in 2003 was named the best-selling children's book series author by the Guinness Book of World Records. Today, he shares a scary story with the children in the audience and talks about his new DVD, "The Haunting Hour."
