Felting Sweaters with Sarah Rosensweet
Sarah Rosensweet is a Toronto-based artist who combines her painting/visual arts skills with her love of sewing and crafts to create unique sweaters for children. Each sweater is constructed from a recycled vintage sweater and decorated with hand-dyed wool fibers using a technique called needle-felting. Her colorful and playful designs are inspired by her own children and the plants and animals of the natural world. Today, Sarah shares her technique for making adorable felted spring sweaters. Learn more about crafter Sarah Rosensweet at sweetthingdesigns.com. Special thanks to Halcyon Yarn for providing the multicolored fulling (Ashford Corriedale Top) for needle-felting.
