Picture Pillow How-To3 Ratings (See All) ![]() Our 15 3/4-inch square washable pillowcase features 12 photographs. A store-bought solution makes printing photos on fabric possible.
Arrange your photos into 4 rows of 3 photos each. Trim butting edges of photo pieces, leaving a 1/4-inch border. Glue together, overlapping the borders as shown. Machine-sew 3/8-inch twill tape over borders. Trim photo grid to 16 3/4-inch square, centering and cropping photos. For pillowcase back, cut two 13-by-16 3/4-inch rectangles of fabric. Hem one long side of each. Lay photo fabric right side up. Then lay plain pieces, wrong sides up, on the printed fabric so that hemmed ends overlap. Machine-sew perimeter with 1/2-inch seam allowance. Turn right side out, and slip over a 16-inch square pillow insert, available at home stores.
