Jingle-Bell Slippers

Add the silvery peal of tiny bells -- as well as scalloped or hole-punched edges, bows, and embroidery -- to a darling pair of homespun slippers.

Jingle-Bell Slippers How-To
Use our template. Trace onto 2 pieces of wool felt, and cut out. Decorate the instep: Use scalloped scissors to cut out inner curve on U-shaped upper, hold-punch a pattern around the upper, or sew a swag design using embroidery floss . Sew upper soled along side at a time, starting from the center of the toe and going to the center of the heel (the felt will simply overlap at the heel seam). Trim overlap. Sew on tiny jingle bells and small bows, if desired.
