Mesh Bag9 Ratings (See All) ![]() A day at the beach needn't end with a bag full of sand. Tote How-To Sew ends of 60-inch ribbons together with a 1/2-inch seam allowance, making a large loop. Fold mesh in half widthwise; press to crease. Unfold, and line up seams in ribbon loop with crease in mesh (points A and B); pin. Starting at point A, sew the ribbon along its outer edge to end of the mesh (overlapping 18-inch ribbon); turn corner and continue sewing lengthwise down entire opposite edge; turn corner and stitch back to point A. Repeat, starting at point B. Fold mesh along crease. To finish sides, sandwich each in a 20-inch ribbon, leaving an inch overhang at each end. Pin, then sew in place. Fold back overhangs, and stitch.
