Navigating the Site
1. I cannot find a clip-art-craft project from a previous issue. Are templates archived on the site?Not all clip-art templates are accessible online. Clip-art templates are posted on the website from the newsstand date of the issue until the newsstand date of the next month's issue. Once the next month's issue information is posted, the previous month's information (including clip-art) may be removed from the site. There are more than 60 archived clip-art-craft templates available for download at www.marthastewart.com/clipart. 2. Where are today's recipes, projects, and guest and source information from "The Martha Stewart Show" posted on the site?In the center of the home page, click the green button that reads "today's show." A new page will load with details on today's show. Click on the blue hyperlinks on the right-hand side of the page for featured recipes, crafts, Good Things, and more. For source information, scroll down for "Products & Services." Visit www.marthastewart.com/martha to go directly to today's show page. To view information on the past two days or the next two days, click on the blue tabs at the top labeled by day and date. 3. Where are past "Martha Stewart Show" videos and information archived?To view past "Martha Stewart Show" video segments and recipe, project, guest, and source information, please click on the yellow tab that reads "Television & Video" at the top of the screen. A new page will load. Scroll down to "Explore Our Archive." Segments are categorized by type (for example, "Crafts"), Date, and Brand (for example, "The Martha Stewart Show"). Please be aware that not ALL "Martha Stewart Show," "Everyday Food," and "Martha Stewart Living Television" segments are currently archived. We are adding past months and years segments as quickly as possible. 4. When is the complete video for today's "Martha Stewart Show" posted?The entire program is posted the next day, at 6 p.m. EST. 5. I see a link to "Watch Video," but I just want to view the recipe information. How may I do that?To watch the video, click on "Watch Video." To view and print the project or recipe information, click on "Learn More." 6. Where are the recipes that were demonstrated on the "Everyday Food" TV program posted on the site?Our site-wise search function will help you find recipes and videos from "Everyday Food." Simply type in a keyword (or words) in the white box at the top of each page of marthastewart.com. Once you have typed in a keyword (or words), click on the orange button that reads "search." 7. When I print recipes from the site, the text on the right side is cut off. How can I prevent this?We offer a "printer-friendly" option for recipes posted online. Click on "PRINT." This text (and an icon of a printer) is located in the upper right-hand corner, above the title of the recipe. The printer-friendly formatted page will load. This will reformat the text to fit on an 8 1/2 by 11-inch sheet of paper. We do not offer recipe card-size (3 x 5 or 4 x 6) text formatting at this time. We do not offer the ability to exclude the photograph from the recipe or project at this time. 8. Where are the other parts to recipes and projects (for example, templates)?To access the recipe or template you desire, please click on the Hyperlinks are identified by blue highlighted text. Whenever you see a hyperlink in the list of ingredients, or project instructions, click on it once. Additional information will load. Hyperlinks are also included in our recipes or project information, when they have additional components. The link to the information you desire is provided in the ingredients or materials list. Click on the link once and the information will load. 9. Are articles and recipes from the magazines posted online?Select articles and recipes are posted online. To preview current issues, CLICK HERE. To find past articles, we recommend searching by keyword to see if the article or recipe you desire is posted online. 10. How do I search the site?To search the site, simply type in a keyword (or words) in the white box at the top of each page of www.marthastewart.com. Once you have typed in a keyword (or words), click on the orange button that reads "search." If you did not find what you were looking for: 11. Do you offer videos of "Martha Stewart Living," "The Martha Stewart Show," or "Everyday Food"?We do not offer videotapes or DVDs of individual television programs. Unfortunately, we do not have information on when certain programs or segments may re-air. You can find scheduling information about both "The Martha Stewart Show" and "Everyday Food" TV schedules, by visiting www.marthastewart.com/martha and then typing your zip code in the white box on the left-hand side of the page that is labeled "Local Show Schedule." Individual episodes of "Martha Stewart Living" nor "The Martha Stewart Show" have not been released on DVD or VHS. There are no plans to release individual episodes of these programs at this time. "Everyday Food, Volume 1" is available on DVD through Martha's Online Store. We have released (and will continue to release) a series of "Best-of" DVDs. These DVDs include classic segments from "Martha Stewart Living" as well as new material. 13. How do I save a Martha Stewart recipe or article?"Collect" is the term we use to define saving something. When you're viewing an article or a recipe, click "Collect" to add that article or recipe to "My Collections," where you can retrieve it easily later. You must be signed in to do this. If you are not signed in, you will be prompted to enter the email address and password you provided when you signed up for membership. When the article has been successfully collected, you will see this message: "This item has been saved on mm/dd/yyyy." 14. What are notes, and how do I use them?You can add a private, personal note to collected Martha Stewart articles and recipes. Once you have collected an item, you will see a "Note & Tag" button. Clicking "Note & Tag" will open a small window with Note & Tag form fields. To save your note, be sure to click the "Submit" button. You can edit your note as few or as many times as you want. You can always see your note when you return to that article or recipe, or you can see your notes in "My Collections." You must be signed in to add a note. You will not see a "Note & Tag" button unless you are signed in and have saved an article or recipe. Notes are private and are viewable only to you, when you are signed in. 15. What are tags, and how do I use them?Tags help you organize your saved stuff. They are keywords of labels that you add to articles and recipes to make it easier to find later. You can tag using words or phrases such as "lunch" or "perfect dinner menu." When you're looking for all your "perfect dinner menu" items, you can simply click on that tag phrase within "My Collections" and you'll see everything you've tagged as "perfect dinner menu." Separate tags with commas or quotation marks. You can enter the tags as: "perfect dinner menu", "lunch." You can also enter the tags as: perfect dinner menu, lunch. Both will yield the following tags: "perfect dinner menu" and "lunch." You must be signed in to add tags to saved articles and recipes. You will not see a "Note & Tag" button unless you are signed in have saved an article or recipe. Tags are public. This allows you to share your organized articles and recipes with other users. 16. How do I add a comment, and who can see my comments?You can add a comment to any recipe or article. Simply go to either and click "Add a comment," and a comment form will display. Don't forget to click "Submit" when you're finished typing your comment. Your comments are public and will be visible to everyone visiting the page where you left the comment. 17. When I try to sign in, I get an error saying that my email address does not exist.Be sure to use the email address that you entered at the time of registration. |
