Golden sage: Salvia officinalis 'Icterina'

Rumored to promote longevity, sage has been sought after since classical times and can be addictive in large quantities. The leaves are made into tea and the flowers are edible. The sage plant's soft, slightly fuzzy leaves are dressed up in this golden variety. The muted green center of the leaf is bordered with a sunny yellow that would make any dish look spectacular.
