Headdress Napkin Wrap

A feather dresses up a simple twill-tape napkin wrap, which doubles as a headdress during -- and after -- the feast. Cut a small hole in the center of a 27-inch-long piece of twill tape. Insert a clean feather (available from florists' shops) in the hole, and stitch to secure. Center the feather on the front of a folded napkin, and tie the tape loosely at the napkin's back.

Pinecone Turkey

This place-card companion might not take center stage, but it will still be a welcome addition to your table. To make the head and beak, bend a 3-inch piece of brown pipe cleaner, and affix it to the top of a pinecone with craft glue. Glue three feathers (available at crafts stores) near the base. Station one turkey at each setting with a place card.
