Since its founding in 1990, Martha Stewart Living has been based in Midtown Manhattan. As the company has grown, so has its territory: a TV studio, one floor of a former industrial warehouse, and then a second, for merchandising, the Internet division, the prop house, photo studios, even Living's food department, which quickly outgrew its original kitchen. Throughout these buildings, each office becomes an individual laboratory, helping to shape and inspire the staff's endeavors. To celebrate the connection between the personal and the professional, Martha asked renowned photographer Robert Polidori to document the spaces that spark our creativity.
