HOW TO APPLY
There are two steps to applying for a grant or support from The Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia Foundation:

STEP ONE: Letter of Inquiry
All organizations must submit a letter of inquiry (two pages maximum). This letter should include:

1) A description of the organization
2) An outline of the project, including
a) Who the project will benefit
b) How you are going to accomplish your goals
c) What outcomes are expected

3 ) A brief overview of your budget, income sources, and expenses for this project

Letters of Inquiry may be submitted at any time and are accepted on an ongoing basis. They may take up to eight (8) weeks to be reviewed.

Please submit Letters of Inquiry to:

The Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia Foundation
601 West 26th Street, 9th Floor
New York, New York 10001

or by email.

We will not accept Letters of Inquiry delivered by fax.

STEP TWO: Proposal
If a Letter of Inquiry is chosen for further consideration, the organization will be invited to submit a full proposal. We use the New York Regional Association of Grantmakers (NYRAG). (You can download the application at www.nyrag.org.)

Invited applicants have up to one year to submit a full proposal. It might take twelve (12) weeks or more to receive a funding decision from us.

Unsolicited full-grant proposals will not be reviewed.

SMALL GRANTS
Applications for grants of $1,000 or less will be considered on the basis of the Letter of Inquiry alone and do not require a full proposal.

Please submit full proposals to:

The Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia Foundation
601 West 26th Street, 9th Floor
New York, New York 10001

We do not accept full proposals by fax or email.
