One Only Candle sconce, $19, by the Metal Studio; hillsburys.com. Golden Fluid acrylic paint, in Titanium White, $14 for 8 oz.; cheapjoes.com. Red sea fan, $25; seashellcity.com. Devcon High Strength 5 Minute Epoxy, $2.37 for 25 milliliters; idealtruehardware.com.
Use screwdriver and mallet to chisel away excess matter at the base of the sea fan so it can slide behind the base of the sconce. Smooth what remains with metal file.
