Papier-Mache Decorations: Black Cats

Black Cat How-To
1. Paste two or three layers of black crepe paper to a balloon. The dye runs and stains easily, so wear gloves and cover your work surface.

2. Remove a circle from one end to make a base. Cut out features, and use tape to secure white and black card stock inside. For the candy dish, cut out lid, and then cut two wedges from it. Use masking tape to secure wedges to cat; cover with crepe paper to make ears.

3. Use craft glue to affix card stock inside the bottom of the form; cover exterior with crepe paper to hide hole in base. For standing cat, don't cut a lid. Set the head on a large balloon.
