Recycled sweater wear

Chose a colorful sweater, acrylic, wool, whatever you like. Cut out a cap and mittens, using the waist band where possible for cuffs. Right sides together, sew with small machine stitch, zigzag edges, turn. You can do the same with wool sweaters that you "felt" in the washing machine in hot water and soap until they have shrunk. Handbags can be made the same way. Reuse, recycle, be creative and save money!
