Egg projects were the most popular crafts in the workshop. Some participants even came up with clever, time-saving tricks to beautify their eggs: Donini used normal wrapping paper in place of origami paper for her decoupage eggs, and took a savvy shortcut by gilding her eggs with gold spray paint!

Workshop crafters paraded their newly hatched chicks throughout our message boards, experimenting with both color and material. One contributor found Easter chicks to be so irresistible that she couldn't stop crafting: "So far, I have made about 75 chicks, and the group keeps growing!" says Betdavisis.

Our contributors outdid themselves creating festive card designs -- and even came up with new ideas for the project. "I just used card stock and cut out egg shapes, as that's what I had on hand," wrote Sharon-lizette, who ended up inspiring several contributors to follow her example.

With the most user comments out of any project in the Easter Workshop, it was clear that participants couldn't get enough of the cheery bunny garlands. Contributor Cor1473 thought her garland looked "darling hanging off of my mantle," and Mamabera summed up the project as "easy, fun, and quick!"
