A carefully chosen, personalized plant makes a lovely Valentine's Day present. What's more, it's a charming and affordable solution for a thoughtful child who wants to surprise his or her grandparent or a special teacher. Using this easy technique, you need only a few basic supplies to embellish a beautiful flowering primrose.
  • 5 1/8-by-3 1/8-by-10 5/8-inch brown-paper lunch bags
  • Standard scissors
  • Flowering plant in plastic container
  • Decorative scissors
  • Ribbon (optional)
  • Double-sided tape or glue
  • Cardboard
  • Skewer (optional)
