  • Ripstop cloth (often called parachute cloth) in red, yellow, and blue
  • Spray adhesive
  • Sewing machine capable of zigzag stitch
  • Scissors
  • Rubber-cement thinner
  • 2-ounce nylon
  • 3/4-inch grosgrain ribbon
  • 50-pound braided-nylon kite line
