Smoothies are one of the best ways to get your fresh fruits and vegetables at any time of day. The combination of nutrient-rich strawberries and grapefruit in this delicious drink really packs a healthy vitamin-C punch!
Take a grapefruit and remove the peel and pith. Slice between the membranes, allowing the segments of grapefruit to fall into a bowl along with their juices. That is supreming, and it's the key to the most heavenly grapefruit. Add a bit of sliced banana and some avocado, and you have an extraordinary seasonal breakfast (my current favorite). Enjoy.
