Baby's Breath Chandelier Suspended with Tulle
The round part is made of 15 bunches of baby's breath (less than $5 each) suspended from a wire wreath frame. Oasis is tied to it, then baby's breath is attached. Three tulle streamers (about 1 yard each) suspend it to the ceiling. David also recycled six pillar candles with hurricane glass covers on top of the chandelier that were used in a past event.
Tabletop
The tabletop was covered with about five bunches of baby's breath. The centerpiece is a large white bowl filled with 12 pounds of green grapes. The flatware and china is from The Martha Stewart Collection with Wedgewood available at Macy's.
Tabletop How-To
1. Start with a white undercloth over a round of 1/4-inch plywood cut to size of table.
2. Take 1 1/2 to 2 yards tulle and cinch 2 inches from the top with floral wire.
3. Use a staple gun to attach to wood round, placing the staple at cinched point of tulle.
4. Repeat until sides of table are covered.
Table Skirt
For this project, David used about 10 yards of tulle to create a 54-foot round table skirt. Tulle is about 75 cents a yard, for a total material cost of about $75. The project is an easy DIY project; it takes about two hours.

Butterfly Chandelier
David created a butterfly chandelier using about 20 butterfly strings at $6 a string for a total of $120. The butterflies are hanging from a monofilament grid attached to the ceiling with push pins, which creates a dreamy effect.
Huppah
The huppah is a simple pipe and base covered with paper and draped in tulle and Smilax vines. The dress was completely made by David out of paper -- his version of haute couture meets paper design.
