Rit liquid dye
Basins to dip fabric in dye, as well as to rinse in water
Iron
Scissors
Rubber gloves

Summer Wrap How-To
1. Rip a pre-snipped piece of cotton voile to 1 yard by 54 inches in length. Snip selvage and rip edges to fray 1/8 to 1/4 inch. Fold piece of fabric in half, matching up the short sides. Press with an iron. Fold fabric in half again. Press with iron. Fold again into thirds. Press with an iron. Fold again in half (west to east). Press with iron. Fold again in half (north to south). Press with iron. Fabric should now be in a square shape.

2. Prepare dyes for dyeing in basins. Fold square piece of fabric into a triangle.

3. Dip corner; the angle at which it is dipped will determine design. With rubber gloves on, squeeze out dye. Repeat dipping with other corners.

4. Wring out excess dye again. Put finished fabric in basin of water, stopping the dying process and changing the harshness of the dye. Wring out the fabric and hang dry. Heat with iron to set dye after fabric is dry.
