Tools and Materials Pearl beads, 1/8 to 1/2 inch in diameter Eight 4-inch head pins Mounting tape 2 cabochons 16-gauge covered floral wire
Pearl Tree Topper How-To 1. Beginning with the smallest bead and continuing in ascending order, string a few beads onto a pin. Repeat for each pin, making sure the pins are adorned with an equal amount of beads.
2. Use the mounting tape to attach all 8 pins to the back of a cabochon. Trim the ends of the pins, if needed. Cut a 9-inch piece of floral wire and attach it to the back. Place another cabochon, also backed with a piece of mounting tape, on top of the pins. Press firmly to ensure the cabochons are sticking together, and use wire to attach at the top of the tree.
