Fill these Valentine gift boxes and treat bags with delicious candy for a sure way to satisfy your sweetheart's sweet tooth!

Valentine Gift Box
Tools and Materials
Small lidded cardboard jewelry box (3 1/4 by 2 1/4 inches)
Invisible tape
2 1/2-by-4 1/4-inch cellophane bag
Vellum
Scissors or craft knife
Red permanent felt-tip pen
Valentine photo
Plain white card stock
Bone folder
Double-sided tape
Thin red ribbon or cord
Assorted candy

Valentine Gift Box How-To
1. Fill cellophane bag with assorted candy. Fold over the top of the bag and secure with invisible tape.

2. Put cellophane bag in bottom of lidded cardboard box, tape side down.

3. Cut a piece of vellum slightly smaller than the inside of the box (ours was 2 by 2 7/8 inches). Write a message on the vellum and place in the box on top of the candy. Place lid on top of box.

4. Crop and print a photo to 3 1/8 by 2 1/4 inches, or to a size that will exactly fit the top of your box. Print on card stock. (Leave at least 2 1/4 inches blank space above each photo if printing multiples.)

5. Cut out the photo with 2 1/4 inches of blank card stock above. Score and fold in half to create a card with the picture on the front.

6. Write a message inside the card. Adhere the photo card to the top of box using double-sided tape.

7. Tie ribbon around corners of box to secure.

3 1/2-by-5 1/2-inch cellophane bag
Valentine photo (wallet-sized)
Plain heavy white card stock
Scissors or craft knife
Invisible tape
Red card stock
Decorative-edge punch
Stapler
Heart stickers
Assorted candy

Valentine Treat Bag How-To
1. Fill a cellophane bag with candy

2. Print wallet-sized photos on card stock. Cut out photo and place inside bag. Adhere to front of bag, about a half-inch from the top, with invisible tape.

3. Cut a rectangle of red card stock that is slightly wider than width of bag (in our case, 3 3/4 inches) by 4 inches long.

4. Score and fold the card stock piece in half the long way to make a 3 3/4-by-2-inch fold-over top for the bag.

5. Use an edge punch to create a decorative edge on both sides of card stock. Place card over top of cellophane bag and secure with a staple.

6. Place a heart sticker over the staple to hide it.
