Hyacinth Wreath

Your littlest attendant will hold her head high in this pretty crown of flowers and beads. Hyacinths (which are widely available in spring and safe to wear) are ideal for stringing, since they're sturdy, hollow, and pluck cleanly off their stems. You can make the wreath one or two days ahead and store in the refrigerator.

Tools and Materials
Pearl and blue beads
22-gauge white wire
Wire cutter
Round-nose pliers.

Hyacinth Wreath How-To
1) Pull florets from stem. With wire cutter, snip wire 10 inches longer than needed. With round-nose pliers, make loop at one end.

2) String beads and florets from other end.

3) End with beads. Trim wire, leaving 1-inch excess. Slip end through loop, bend, and twist to secure.
