More Ways to Share:

Facebook, co-founded by Chris Hughes (pictured), is the world's most popular social-networking site, with more than 500 million users around the world.

Facebook members have the option of giving "status updates" at any time. These updates can be virtually whatever you are thinking of at the time, such a couple words on your current activities, photographs from a recent vacation, or anything else you may feel like sharing.

Facebook has become an increasingly popular place to post and share personal pictures. Most people consider their default picture -- or the picture that appears when people search for you or take a look at your profile page -- the most important image, but these days more and more people are posting entire photo albums online to share with friends.

Fan pages are a relatively new addition to Facebook; they launched in late 2007 and were then redesigned in March 2009. Since then, many celebrities -- including Martha -- have joined this popular site as a means to reach out to their fans.
