Hide your dotted, striped, and swirled beauties in plain sight. Clustered together, these decorations have a big impact: A hallway becomes brighter, a table more charming. You can pile eggs in a bowl, fill a basket with them, or set them in egg cups, but why stop there? Below are two more ideas to get you thinking.
Easter Centerpiece
Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Rather, place them in several nests made from dried grass (available at crafts stores), and line them up along the center of the table instead of flowers. At each place setting, on the napkin, we placed a marbleized egg in an unused painters' palette cup.
Egg Tree
Hang eggs from forced pussy willow branches. First, anchor branches in floral foam cut to fit the vase. Then, make a "needle" for the ribbon: Fold a length of wire in half and twist ends, leaving an "eye." Double-thread with ribbon; knot the ends. Slide ribbon through the holes of a blown-out egg; snip it, and knot ends.
