Custom Covers

Transform plain bookcloth- or linen-covered albums into one-of-a-kind keepsakes using iron-on transfer paper available from office-supply stores. Choose a favorite snapshot from your wedding (light, neutral-color fabrics work best with photos) or design a simple label yourself on the computer. The albums also make great gifts for parents and grandparents.

Custom Covers How-To
1) Scan or download a photo; you'll need image-editing software to add text. For labels, search clip-ar books or websites for borders and embellishments; leave text or background white if you want the cover's hue to show through.

2) Print reverse image onto iron-on transfer sheet following package instructions. Cut out image.

3) Position on album cover, and lay a pressing cloth over it. Iron, let cool, then peel off paper backing.
