Christmas Table with Chandelier Garland and Bobeche Trim

Add a bit of romance to your holiday table with resoundingly red decorations. Fashion a striking centerpiece with crimson roses, anemones, and berry-laden stems of deciduous holly.

Sprigs of glittered faux holly (available at crafts stores) are perched on the bobeches of a chandelier, and our easy-to-make garland consists of glittered holly hot-glued to glass-ball ornaments that hang from beaded strands.

On the table, red holly-leaf place cards welcome guests to their seats with cheer.

Red glass-ball ornaments

Hot-glue gun

Red beaded garlands

28-gauge aluminum wire

How-To
1. Attach short pieces of holly leaves and stems to tops of ornaments with hot glue, leaving ball hangers accessible.

2. Suspend beaded garland from chandelier in attractive swags, securing to lamp's arms with short pieces of thin wire. Trim any excess, and reserve; you will use the beads for hanging the ornaments.

3. Cut several pieces of wire. String each with remaining red beads, leaving 1 inch unstrung on each end.

4. Attach one end of beaded wire to an ornament. Hang ornaments from garland on alternate swags.

5. Hang additional beaded wires from remaining swags.
