Flush mount hanging hardware Child's Coat Hood How-To 2. Photocopy a map or atlas. Remove protective paper from Double Tack and place copy of map on revealed adhesive. Rub the map with a brayer or bone folder to transfer adhesive to back of map. 3. Cut around outside of circle cutter or plate to cut an 8-inch circle from the map. Peel the protective paper from the back of the map, and adhere to plaque. Press and smooth the map with a brayer or bone folder to secure completely. 4. If you are not using a pre-made chipboard letter, print a 3-inch letter in a favorite font. Trace and cut letter from mat board. If desired, adhere a piece of colored paper to the mat board before cutting out the letter. 5. Place the letter on the plaque and temporarily tack in place with adhesive roller or piece of double-sided tape. 6. Drill equally spaced holes with a 1/32-inch drill bit. Hammer a finishing tack into each hole to hold the letter in place. 7. Attach a hook or set of hooks below the letter. Attach hanging hardware to back of plaque, and hang on wall. Resources |
