Blowing Out an Egg

This is an easy and effective method for blowing out eggs, which is a great way to decorate for Easter.

Tools and Materials
Eggs
Dremel tool with small drill bit
Unfolded paper clip
Two-hole ("Marge's") egg blower or one-hole ("Bias-Fix") egg blower

Two-Hole Egg Blowing How-To
1. Drill a small hole in the bottom of the egg with a Dremel tool (less than 1/4-inch diameter).

2. Slip an unfolded paper clip through the hole and pierce the yolk. Use the paper clip to mix the yolk into the egg whites.

3. Pierce the top of the egg with the needle tip of the one-hole (Marge's) egg blower, and push the needle into the egg, so that the egg blower is snug against the top of the egg.

4. Holding the egg in one hand, gently squeeze the bulb of the egg blower with the other hand to create pressure inside the egg, forcing the egg insides out of the bottom hole.

One-Hole Egg Blowing
1. Drill a small hole in the bottom of the egg with a Dremel tool (less than 1/4-inch diameter).

2. Slip an unfolded paperclip through the hole and pierce the yolk. Use the paper clip to mix the yolk into the egg whites.

3. Holding the egg in one hand, put the needle of the one-hole (or "bias-fix") egg blower through the hole you have created. Gently squeeze the bulb of the egg blower with the other hand to create pressure inside the egg, forcing the egg insides out of the same hole.
