Tell us about your business.I'm a French Illustrator living in California. Passionate about food, I started 2 years ago when I opened my Etsy store. Today, I work with some galleries and stores and accept custom orders. In the future, I would like to license my art. Regarding my process, I do a lot of research, design the art and draw it. Then I scan the page and add some colors and text with the computer. I then print the artwork on a printer with archival paper and inks. I sign and package each print.
Tell us about your workspace, shop, or studio.I have a quiet studio in the backyard. It has white walls, white furniture and a window from which I see the garden, the trees and the sky. There are two tables. One is empty so I can draw and one is busy with the computer, scanner and archival printer.
What inspires you?I draw my inspiration from French food, nature and old, vintage French books and posters.
What makes your business stand out? It's all about French Cuisine and healthy food in a beautiful, fresh and lush way.
What advice would you give an aspiring creative entrepreneur?Just make it!
