Tell us about your business.

I am a mom who has a genuine entreprenual soul. I started designing custom wood framed mirrors in early 2013. One thing led to another and now I am designing and building custom dining tables, bathroom vanities, beds, chairs, swings, coffee tables, desks, media centers, the list goes on and on. I grew up with a family who has owned several businesses and just so happen to have two carpenter grandfathers. I'm guessing that's where my skills come from! :) I built my first thing when I was 7 with my grandfather, it was a tree swing for our vacation home in Minnesota. I see myself reaching the stars with this business I am this passionate about. I truly love what I do. The old saying is true "when you love what you do for work you'll never have to work a day in your life".

What inspires you?

I'm inspired by all things beautiful. My children. Nature. Success.

What makes your business stand out?

I'm a female furniture designer and carpenter. I have built every piece I've designed on my own. I'm not afraid of getting dirty if it means something beautiful will come of it.

What advice would you give an aspiring creative entrepreneur?

Follow your heart and no matter what bumps you hit on the road to success do not give up.

What does American Made mean to you?

Hand crafted from the heart and soul. Creating pieces that will be passed down for years and years in families. Nothing makes my heart flutter more than getting something from a great grandparent and to know that my pieces will be passed on in families fuels my passion even more.
