Tell us about your business.

My business started after I graduated from high school because I didn't know what to do so my grandma had me create a 5 x 8 canvas rug. After I realized I had artistic talent we started selling my items at craft shows. I have now branched out from decorating canvas to decorating household and decorative items. I would like to be able to create art that everyone will like because it makes me happy.

Tell us about your workspace, shop, or studio.

I work out of my room because we don't have room for a studio. I also have a booth at a store with many different artists.

What inspires you?

I am inspired by everyday things. I like to make people happy with the colors I use and everything comes out of my imagination.

What makes your business stand out?

My business stands out because of my use of colors. No two items I make are alike. It also stands out because I do all of the work by hand.

What advice would you give an aspiring creative entrepreneur?

Just try it. You never know what will happen.

What does American Made mean to you?

American Made means that the finished item is created in America.
