Red Rooster Trading Company was born in 2010 and started with the Camano Coffee Mill, Mabana Pepper Mill & accessories. The Camano is a best seller and sells worldwide. Customers are experiencing the quality in craftsmanship and customer service and want more from Red Rooster. The husband and wife team, Justin and Britta have similar taste & style when it comes to home decor and enjoy brainstorming new additions. Each of their hand.built products are original in design which make them a one of a kind, made in the USA product. Their latest endeavor has been hand.built, upcycled furniture, exploring together to find that unique piece that is repurposed into something beautiful and functional. A mix of industrial and modern their furniture is sure to be a topic of conversation among your guests.

Tell us about your workspace, shop, or studio.

Red Rooster's workshop is a work in progress and the warehouse shipping is still in the basement of our home. We are adding on to the woodshop as we are outgrowing our space. We have started out small and are growing at a great pace. Our office space is full of inspiration. The office desk, a Red Rooster original is upcycled from an old metal frame and authentic vintage vertical file cabinets are used for filing. Everything from signs, to funny & inspiring cards, to pictures of family and smalls -- you could stand in the small office space for hours taking it all in. The view is of our garden shed and chicken coop with the sun setting behind. It is important & fun for us to find old things and use them -- instead of going to superstores and buying everything plastic.

What inspires you?

God, our son, family, friends, nature, good food, coffee breaks, wine, sunsets, our chickens, pack goats, Black lab, Pyrenees puppies, our 3 cats, interior design... exploring antique & junk shops, flea markets -- looking for that piece that will be turned into something beautiful and functional.

What makes your business stand out?

It is important to keep the quality & consistency in our products and clear communication with our customers. We care about the quality of our products and the customers who will enjoy them for years to come. That shows in our customer service and the products we offer.

What advice would you give an aspiring creative entrepreneur?

Seek God first, work hard, dream big, enjoy each moment, take time to play and enjoy your family & the life God has given you. Don't be afraid to ask for help, know when to delegate.

What does American Made mean to you?

Authentic, heirloom quality, workmanship, hard work, dedication, loyalty.
