Tell us about your business.

About Us CLC's designs are all handcrafted in the USA from solid Italian/Greek Brass... not plated or painted base metal like most others. We have created roughly 500 of our own historically accurate reproductions based on the designs of the late 1800's through the Deco era of the 1940's. These include gas lights, old electrics, Victorian, Empire, Colonial, Mission, etc. Our finished products purposefully include subtle imperfections as was the case back in the days when today's tools were unavailable and of course for the accuracy of design aesthetics.  Completely Custom We offer many custom options on all of our products and use only the finest parts. Previous Clients A few of our more notable clients include the US Capitol Building in Washington, DC, Warner Brothers' Films, The Walt Disney Company, Paramount Pictures, The United States Postal Service, The Parker Meridien Hotels, among other high profile organizations and individuals.

We are based out of the San Diego, CA area. While we used to have retail space, we now have our shop where be fabricate our lighting fixtures.

What inspires you?

Inspiration comes from many places. We like being unique. We like that no one else carries our products and that we offer what no one else offers, since our products are not available anywhere else. We remain inspired by continuing this successful company in the USA and keeping our product manufacturing 100% American made. Being a successful independent musician with 4 original albums, I appreciate creativity in all aspects. Like my lyrics, each lighting piece is created with history and love of experience. I like to add a little rock and roll to the vibe of the company as well. Feel free to learn more about my music here: http://www.sethregan.com

What makes your business stand out?

We are not a reseller of mass produced products which can be found in many stores. We take pride in the fact that our lighting fixtures are not available anywhere else. We also offer complete customization on every fixture a client orders. Since we are making our fixtures from scratch, modifying the number of arms, center stem length, metal color, all the way down to the smallest finial, can be customized to meet our client's personal tastes and spatial requirements.

What advice would you give an aspiring creative entrepreneur?

Take risks. Don't be afraid. Look fear in the eye and just go for it. The worst that can happen is that you will fail, which in itself is success.

What does American Made mean to you?

It means my pride. It means I am doing my part for our Country, not shipping jobs overseas. Help starts at home... this is my home. America ROCKS!

Some of the finest antique reproductions we've seen. We'll be in touch for a movie set. I see you've already done some blockbuster movies so this should be great. Looking forward to starting a dialogue.
