Tell us about your business.I started making paper cuts while a student at the San Francisco Art Institute. They're my favorite thing in the world to make because they require lots of time and attention and only reveal themselves slowly. I generally use existing maps or my own photographs when making the designs, which reflects my love of my two favorite things in the world: traveling and the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, where many of the pictures of the trees were taken.
What makes your business stand out?I like to think that the things I listen to and watch while I make them are somehow soaked into the paper itself, which means my new pieces are basically marinated in Breaking Bad, Orange Is the New Black, and an unbelievable amount of Taylor Swift songs.
What's the best business advice you've received?"The greats weren't great because at birth they could paint The greats were great cause they paint a lot" I don't usually go around quoting Macklemore but I've been thinking about that a lot lately.
