Zen Threads was born from one artist’s dream to turn art and illustration into affordable, wearable goods by eco friendly and hand print process.

Tell us about your business.

We are a Northern California based Screen printing shop dedicated to sharing our love of tee shirt design and vision with you. In addition to having lots of fun, we work seamlessly to recreate the look and feel of your new favorite tee. We’ve made a commitment to our earth and use a “GREEN” printing process, free from any harmful chemicals or solvents. Not only is it safer for the planet (and our shop) but water-based inks look and feel like they’re part of the garment. Made in the USA, sweatshop free!

What makes your business stand out?

We're inspired mainly by our home state, wildlife, plants, animals, and other oddities we love. Our unique designs are created from a blend of graphic design and illustration which are transferred onto silkscreens using an earth friendly photo-emulsion process. Each item is thoughtfully printed (by human hands) onto the softest tees and most comfortable garments we could find. All of our designs are printed in a rotation. This way we are able to offer you several color options for each tee.

What's the best business advice you've received?

Be patient! Good things come with hard work and a lot of patience. Most importantly, have fun in all of it. Starting a business takes a lot of dedication and long days. If something isn't working don't be discouraged, just learn from it and move on to the next idea.
