Tell us about your business.About three years ago, with an over abundance of homegrown produce, we both began canning independently, making gifts for friends and family. Soon enough, we decided to start a small business together. Each step in our journey has happened because we say "yes" to every opportunity, and we have been blessed to share our jams and pickles with many people. We would love to see our business grow, with our products in retail stores throughout California and beyond. We are a strong supporter of local business and source as many of our ingredients locally as possible.
What makes your business stand out?Our goal is to keep as much of the natural flavor shining through in our products. We combine familiar favorites with herbs and spices to create exciting blends like Strawberry Lemon-Thyme, Apricot Saffron with White Pepper, and Lemon Cucumber Pickles. Our products are quite versatile in that they can be used in myriad ways - as marinades for meats and fish, as toppings for BBQs, as salad dressings, as cocktail mixers, as layers for cakes and hand pies, and of course, on toast!
What's the best business advice you've received? The best business advice we've received (and follow!) is "Say yes to every opportunity!" This has led us to meet many new people, provided us with opportunities to share our products, and helped us make many valuable business connections. As long as we continue to follow this advice and move forward, we believe our business will strengthen and grow.
